Netball Academy camps run during all school holidays including half term holidays and are open to all ages and abilities.
Since its launch, the Netball Academy has seen hundreds of young netballers participating in our Development Program, with many local players also attending our ever popular holiday camps. It’s not just Caterham pupils who benefit from our experienced team of coaches, we welcome children from a wide range of schools and clubs in the local area.
Catering for such a large age and experience range has been a fantastic opportunity to bring in expert coaches from Super league and International Netball. Past guest coaches include Rhea Dixon (former Surrey Storm & England U21), Leah Goss (Former Surrey Storm U21 captain) and Anya Wood (former Loughborough Lightning and England U19). These coaches have provided great insight into elite netball training and coaching. Alongside the guest coaches, the Academy has also been supported by a team of Sixth Form students. Their enthusiasm and passion for netball has not only made them great coaches but also very popular amongst the Academy attendees.
We are delighted to be able to continue this elite offering in the form of our recently announced partnership with London Mavericks which will provide expert support for Netball across Caterham and the wider community. Here’s what they had to say…….
‘‘We are delighted to announce a partnership with Caterham School. We are excited to support the school in relaunching its netball programme, bringing London Mavericks Netball to both the school and the wider community. Not only will we be supporting the rise of netball within the school, but we will also be providing opportunities beyond the school day to help local netball athletes grow and develop both on and off the court.”
The Netball Academy targets both elite and participation netballers; from those who are starting out on their journey to those who are competing regularly. Sessions are tailored sessions to allow players of all abilities the opportunity to experience the fun side of netball whilst still maintaining a competitive element.
These sessions are open to both boys and girls of all abilities aged 7-14 years with the focus on improving your child’s fundamental netball skills in a fun and safe environment. The Academy will take place every Tuesday during term time from 5.30-6.30pm in the Sports Centre.

Fun and social netball sessions for players new to the sport or players returning from time out of the game. A great way to keep active and make new friends.
You can pay by card on arrival at the Sports Centre reception.
